Nope, once used it's used. If you want to give it to a friend, you'll need to either give him your login information (email, password, etc) or change the information to something of his choosing.

Isn't this against the EULA, so the account could become banned by transfering it like this.

Loviatar - The EULA says alot...Its mostly just to cover Anet's Hide if they decide they start not liking something. (Just like the EULA says you gotta be 13+ to play the game...well we all know there are ALOT of little snot-nosed 10 yr olds in the game that aren't getting banned just cause their 10).

But to this day, noone has been banned for giving their account away in this fashion.

Theres not even a way for Anet to TELL if it was transfered from their end - their monitering compatibilities are caught up in bot control. And remember - even though he posted it on a forum, Arenanet's Support ticket reminds you that they can NOT punish offenses found out on a Forum (Like if someone posts "I hack all the time" and someone screenshots the post, Anet cant punish him, its gotta be from IN THE GAME).

Regardless of what the EULA states. You will be fine giving it to a friend. Just do what the others said and change your info to his. Easy as that.

It actually says 18+ to create an account. Don't know if you got the 13+ idea from the ESRB/PEGI/CERO/Whatever rating on the box, though...

@Former Ruling

i corrected his statement that the eula permitted it nothing more

@The Pointless

that 18 years is to set up and use a credit card to protect them from some kid saying i am under age so try to sue me.

it has no effect on the game age rating of setting up an account to play if you dont plan to pay for anything in game
